Alvin N. Allison has lived on the south side of Atlanta for the majority of his life. After graduating from North Clayton High School, he received his Associate of Arts degree (with honors) from Young Harris College, then attended Georgia State University where he graduated Cum Laude in 1979.

Alvin received his CPA certification in 1981. He worked for two local CPA firms before joining Jones & Kolb, CPAs in Atlanta where he spent the next 15 years. Alvin joined Robinson, Whaley, Hammonds & Allison, P.C. as a partner in December 1998.

Alvin works with small businesses and individuals specializing in medical practices and real estate. He is responsible for the firm’s financial reporting practice and oversees much of Robinson, Whaley, Hammonds & Allison, P.C. attestation work.

He has served on the boards of several McDonough non-profits. Alvin is also active in his church, where he has served as chairman of the finance committee.

Alvin and his wife live in Coweta County with their two sons.
