P. Lewis Robinson is a native of Newnan, Georgia and a graduate of Georgia State University where he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi. He received his CPA certificate in 1965. Prior to opening his practice in McDonough in 1991, he was associated with regional and national CPA firms in Atlanta and was in practice in Griffin, GA. He sold that practice in Griffin in 1980 and accepted a position as Treasurer of a family owned business in Hampton. He remained there until he founded the firm now known as Robinson, Whaley, Hammonds & Allison, P.C.
A majority of his professional time is now engaged in business consulting and tax planning.
Lewis has been very active in non-profit organizations in McDonough and Henry County since he moved to McDonough in 1991 and has been recognized on several occasions for his contributions to these organizations.
Lewis and his wife live in McDonough and have four grown children.
