Although our firm only dates back to the fall of 1991, our origins can be traced back much further. Our founding partner, Lewis Robinson, began his career in public accounting in the 1960s. After building and selling his interests in several firms, Lewis spent the 1980s in private practice.

In the early 1990s, he was again bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. Starting with just himself and a part time staff member, the firm has steadily grown through the years and now is a recognized leader in our marketplace.

How we got to this place is no accident.

Patty B. Whaley Patty’s considerable experience in accounting technology and computer software training makes her exceptional in her field of tax and accounting for small business and individuals. Patty is also a certified Quickbooks Advisor.

Gregory W. Hammonds Greg’s commitment to the firm led him to be elected president in 2006. He desires to maintain integrity and provide solutions for clients’ ever-changing needs. Greg’s focus is estate and income tax planning for small business owners and high net worth individuals. He has extensive experience in the estate and trust areas.

Alvin N. Allison Alvin works with small businesses and individuals specializing in medical practices and real estate. He is responsible for the firm’s financial reporting practice and oversees much of Robinson, Whaley, Hammonds & Allison, P.C. attestation work.
